The Castle of Limassol as it appears today is a structure rebuilt under the Turkish domination (19th century).
The architectural features of a much more extended Medieval Museum have been included.
In the first room the visitor can see exhibits from the Neolithic, Chalcolithic and Bronze Age, including coins cut from the mint of Pafos.
